Beginners Guide to Valentines Day
Book a restaurant that she loves. This is not the day to try something new… unless it's in the bedroom. Try and think of a special moment you have already shared together and relate it to that as this gesture is your first signs that you have put in some serious thought. Remember to find a bar nearby for a drink before dinner… you are now well underway on becoming Cupid himself.
Send some flowers to her work. Yes, flowers are so obvious but that is exactly why this should be done. You do not want to be the only boyfriend in the office that has not treated your girl to a bouquet of flowers on the day of love, and make sure they are roses!
Breakfast in bed. This one is easy and catching your other half off guard, in a morning drowsy state with affection is sure to confuse her and leave you in full control for the day ahead. Don’t overcomplicate this one, we recommend the usual tea she drinks, put some toast on and this is where it gets really exciting. It turns out there was a use for all that cutting out you used to do at school. Focus. Cut out a heart shape from the (not burnt) toast. You may need to put in two pieces of bread in case you mess it up and then smother it with the reddest condiment you have in your cupboard. Voila, breakfast in bed.
Now for the special op stuff.. make a playlist just for her. If the heart-shaped toast didn’t do it, this is sure to make her fall in love with you for the rest of time. Choose the good stuff, your first song together, first dance together, any holiday classics that you remember being cuddled up on the beach too. You want to remind her again and again that you love her and there is no better way than letting sam smith do it all for you.
Now that the day is in order, its time to talk about gifts. Here are some last minute must-haves that will make it to your door before the special day.
